Official developer preview downloads

Only Desktop and Server v0.1.0-dev AMD64 have published artifacts. Planned editions are not shipped.

Only Desktop and Server are published. Internal Edge/AI Workstation test images are not downloadable or installer-certified products.

Verify your download before opening the ISO

Put the ISO and matching .sha256 file in the same folder and run on Linux:

sha256sum -c KINGAI-OS-Desktop-0.1.0-dev-amd64.iso.sha256

On Windows, use PowerShell Get-FileHash; on macOS, shasum -a 256. A matching hash is not an authenticated publisher signature.

Download counts come from the GitHub release record, read on October 29, 2026. Edge and AI Workstation have no public files, so they do not appear in this table.

Verify with SHA-256

  1. Download the ISO and its matching .sha256 file into the same folder
  2. On Linux, run sha256sum -c filename.iso.sha256 and look for OK
  3. On macOS, compute the hash with shasum -a 256 and compare it character by character with the checksum file
  4. On Windows, run Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 in PowerShell and compare

A matching hash means the bytes are unchanged; it is not a publisher signature. On October 29, 2026, the releases repository re-downloaded both ISOs in full inside CI and confirmed the hashes against the catalog. Install certification is still outstanding, so a verified file still goes into a virtual machine first.
