The Desktop and Server preview ISOs and their checksum companions, with file sizes and the release record.
Go to downloads →Install in a VM first. The guide covers the checksum commands, a suggested test configuration, and why a failed install means stop, not retry on real hardware.
Read the guide →A SHA-256 match proves the bytes are unchanged. It is not a signature. This page spells out the preview's security boundaries and how to report a vulnerability.
Read the security notes →One public release so far: v0.1.0-dev, published October 6, 2026. Every future release gets logged here.
See release history →v0.1.0-dev is the only public release. On October 29, 2026, the releases repository downloaded both ISOs in full inside CI and recomputed their SHA-256 hashes; both matched the catalog record, so the published files are byte-complete. Install certification is a different bar and it has not been passed: an unattended install reached partitioning and the bootloader, but there is still no clean installed-disk reboot on record. Treat the previews accordingly and test in a VM before anything else.
